Previews:
Facebook Librarian – my first foray into php and mysql. The hope is to get ordinary people to resources they’d find useful - including a simple. yet mutually-beneficial way of getting “patrons” to ask questions to the appropriate librarian for their purpose. In the long-term, I want the app to transform to provide a lot more services that a Librarian would provide. This would mean Readers advisory and enhanced information literacy. Practically, I want to accomplish this by getting software developer librarians involved in the app-making process.
